Scholars, researchers, industry practitioners, policymakers, climate financiers and local actors are invited to submit abstracts for the International Conference on Renewable Energy, Climate Change and Ecosystems Restoration (ICRECC-2026).
ICRECC-2026 will be held from September 8 to September 11, 2026, at The Blueberry Villas in Eldoret City, Kenya. This year’s conference focuses on bridging the gap between advanced technology, circular economics and community-led ecosystem restoration to drive resilient interventions.
Conference Overview & Context
Degraded ecosystems and climate change represent two of the most persistent global challenges affecting humanity. These issues are profoundly interlinked: climate change acts as a primary driver of ecosystem degradation, while robust ecosystem restoration efforts offer critical pathways to mitigating climate change impacts.
To build resilient communities, ICRECC-2026 champions a combined approach, uniting ecosystem restoration, renewable energy integration and circularity. By fostering synergy among diverse stakeholders, this conference aims to scale up local and global climate action, maximize human-machine collaborations and promote sustainable investments where they are needed most.
